This role requires effective classroom management skills, thorough knowledge of educational technology, and a focus on individualized instruction to meet diverse student needs. The current position would include classes in basic computers and technology, advanced programming, and AP Computer Science with future opportunities in our engineering program.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Educate students on various subjects, ensuring comprehension of complex topics.
- Utilize learning technology to enhance the educational experience and facilitate interactive learning.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, creating a respectful and productive learning environment.
- Participate in education administration tasks, including grading, reporting, and parent communication.
Experience
- Proven experience in teaching or tutoring, preferably in a classroom setting.
- Familiarity with educational technology tools that enhance learning outcomes.
- Strong background in classroom management techniques.
- An ability to incorporate STEM principles of collaboration, real world learning, and cross-curricular lessons.
