- POSITION SUMMARY
- Engages in patient care in the Clinic and other settings using specialized knowledge, judgment, and skills. Practices in the prevention, identification, assessment and rehabilitation of auditory function.
- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses and Certifications Required
- Current Certification by the North Dakota Board of Examiners for Audiology and Speech Language Pathology, required.
- Current ND license as Hearing Instrument Specialist or ND Hearing Aid Specialist Trainee license, required. Ability to obtain permanent ND Hearing Aid Specialist license within 1 year of hire, required.
- Educational Requirements
- Education as required to obtain licensure and certification as described above.
- Experience Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of established professional audiology concepts, principals and practices, required.
- Experience in the practice of clinical and therapeutic audiology,preferred.
- Experience working with a variety of age groups including infants and children.
- CPT coding knowledge as related to audiology, preferred.
