What are the responsibilities and job description for the LAB TECHNICIAN-KENMARE position at Trinity Hospitals?
- POSITION SUMMARY
- Laboratory : Provides information for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease by conducting medical laboratory tests, procedures and analyses. Performs laboratory testing in Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Clinical Microscopy and Immunology, to also include phlebotomy.
Radiology : Performs a variety of General Radiology procedures, as directed by the Radiologists according to the policies of Trinity Health.
- EKG : Performs EKG diagnostic testing and Holter Monitor Hook-ups.
Position requires rotating call schedule.
- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses and Certifications Required
- Laboratory: ASCP or equivalent/North Dakota licensure
- Radiology: Minimum of NDMIRTBE LXMO license within 12 months
- Educational Requirements
- Medical Technology Degree - MT or MLT
- Experience Requirements
- Laboratory: Clinical Internship or clinical training
- Special Skills or Training Requirements
- None other than those required in Clinical Internship/Training
- Licenses and Certifications Required
