Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Identify and target new sales opportunities in the contractor sector. Drive growth through cold calling, networking, and leveraging your established book of business.
- Relationship Management: Maintain and expand existing relationships with contractors, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and repeat business.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies that align with company goals and objectives. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities.
- Negotiations: Lead negotiations with clients to secure contracts and close deals, while ensuring all terms meet both customer and company expectations.
- Product Expertise: Stay knowledgeable about our product offerings and provide clients with expert guidance on the best solutions to meet their needs.
- Market Intelligence: Conduct market research to identify potential clients and new sales opportunities within the contractor world.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and business development progress in CRM software.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in sales or business development, with a proven track record in the industrial sector and working with contractors.
- Book of Business: Established relationships with key contractors and decision-makers in the industry is highly preferred.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of industrial products, services, and the needs of contractors in various sectors.
- Sales Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to influence decision-making and build long-lasting business relationships.
- Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with other sales tools is a plus.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
