Trinity TankCar, Inc. is looking for a Career NDT Quality Inspector in our Longview, TX location! Our products are an integral part of the supply chain that helps fuel our lives and our economy. What you'll do:
Makes visual and measured inspection of products the majority of the time to ensure conformance with standards and determines if product meets all requirements. May inspect incoming materials, outgoing materials, or products or assemblies throughout the manufacturing process. May apply singular or multiple inspection processes using various appropriate NDE methods. Able to maintain, adjust or calibrate inspection equipment. Completes inspection records and reports. Familiar with appropriate codes, regulations, applicable procedures & standards. Follows all safety rules and practices. May be involved in safety committees or CI initiatives. Performs other duties as assigned. For new hires previous work experience and/or certifications may be considered for the corresponding job level position.
What you'll need:
· Meets level 1 requirements and
· Proficient in the use of inspection tools and measuring equipment
· Understands and applies quality science and tools
· Certified to conduct and approve 2 or more NDE method (such as bubble leak, dye penetrant, ultrasound)
· May work under supervision of Level II or III Certified Inspector
