About the Role:
Trinity IT is seeking a Program/Project Manager II to support the planning, direction, and successful execution of major programs and initiatives for our contract supporting the US Navy. This role is instrumental in ensuring the coordination, communication, and control necessary for complex, high-impact efforts that involve diverse technical and operational teams.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
This position requires an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET security clearance, which requires US citizenship.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee large-scale, potentially multi-year programs, ensuring alignment with agency goals and mission-critical outcomes.

Develop and guide overall program strategies, short- and long-term objectives, and operational plans.

Direct systems development, research, and technology initiatives with broad agency significance.

Define and implement technical approaches in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Negotiate and manage resource allocation across program tasks and sub-programs.

Establish and monitor program milestones, schedules, budgets, and costs.

Coordinate with agency personnel to ensure alignment and transparency throughout the program lifecycle.
- Lead risk management and quality control processes to ensure successful delivery.
Required Qualifications:
- Active SECRET clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in any technical or managerial discipline .

10 years of relevant experience managing programs or complex projects.

Strong experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Confluence, Asana).

Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Experience managing budgets, schedules, and stakeholder expectations.
Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with government agency operations or contracting environments.

Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams across multiple domains
- PMP, CAPM, or similar certification.
