Essential Functions
- Assisting Agents with sales prospecting strategies, involving subject matter experts when applicable.
- Working closely with Business Development to assist with sales decks, providing actionable reports and data insights for sales, customer and executive level success with Agents and Agent customers.
- Identify technical training opportunities and coordinating with Trinity’s Agent Training & Education team for action.
- Provide support for Agents with respect to action(s) toward their business plan for growth and development.
- Providing support to Trinity’s Agent Recruiting team with lead clearance and credit.
- Working with Marketing to support needs of assigned Agents.
- Monitoring and identifying areas of non-compliance or need for recurring education around technical, procedural, service or mode opportunities.
- Keep up to date on Trinity’s operating systems and policies & procedures which directly relate to Agent performance and compliance.
- Handling, as needed, or collaborating with various departments & people to provide swift resolution for Agent needs or issues.
- As needed, assisting with RFI and RFP opportunities.
- Document and assist with process and reference material creation for broad usage as needed.
- Collaborating with Director of Sales Operations (corporate) for sharing of best-demonstrated practices.
- Maintain line of sight on market trends and competitive intelligence to distribution to Agents and peers.
- Participates in special projects and handles all other assigned duties as required.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in logistics with preferred experience in Agent Support.
- Previous sales experience required
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role required.
- High School diploma required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Knowledgeable of multiple administrative and/or operational areas that support Trinity’s Agent Division.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Moderate level of mathematical, analytical and research skills to identify potential issues by interpreting data, evaluating patterns and proactively developing resolutions.
- Ability to function through influence, able to interact with a wide variety of contacts, both internal and external.
- Must have a strong attention to detail, meet deadlines and be comfortable working independently.
- Strong computer skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed-estimated 10%.
