Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Christian Childcare Provider to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children in your care. You will engage with children through play, educational activities, and daily routines while promoting their physical, emotional, and social development. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children in various settings such as daycare, preschool, or as a babysitter/nanny.
Duties
- Show good moral and Christian ethics
- Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote childhood development.
- Provide care for infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, and cleaning up
- Foster a positive learning environment by encouraging curiosity and exploration.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom or play area.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Collaborate with other childcare staff to ensure consistency in care and education.
- Support children with disabilities by adapting activities to meet their individual needs.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, or nannying roles is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
- Ability to implement engaging lesson plans that educate while entertaining.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children and parents.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus but not required.
