Position: Trinity Lutheran School, Hicksville, seeks a dynamic and caring full-time upper elementary school teacher for the 2025-26 school year. Trinity teachers implement Christ-centered, high quality, exemplary instruction, and commit themselves to Trinity’s mission and philosophy. Trinity teachers will offer a rigorous curriculum fully aligned to Next Generation Standards. A Trinity teacher will work to nurture the intellectual curiosity of students and offer multiple opportunities for them to take full advantage of purposeful instruction.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Align with Trinity Lutheran Church and School mission and philosophy
- Implement curriculum, learning strategies and activities aligned to Next Generation Standards
- Set goals for student progress and achievement in collaboration with the Principal and instructional teams.
- Plan for and provide academic accommodations and differentiation for all students.
- Demonstrate strong and effective communication skills
Qualifications
- BA in Education (MA Preferred)
- Commitment to the development and assessment of students’ academic, social and behavioral progress
- Commitment to creating and maintaining a caring, Christian classroom environment.
- Commitment to being a team player.
