What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radiology Technologist position at Trinity Medical Center Health System?
- JOB SUMMARY
- Performs radiologic procedures at a technical level requiring limited supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures utilizing existing standards as a guide. Demonstrates the ability to utilize independent judgment in the completion of routine exams/procedures.
- Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required in conjunction with a Rad Tech II or III, including specialized radiologic areas such as angiographic/interventional Special Procedures, and portable imaging.May be assigned station fill position within other areas of the department.
- Recognizes the purpose of employment is to prioritize the needs of the patient, and to put forth the utmost quality as a technologist.
- QUALIFICATIONS
- Education
- High School Graduate. Satisfactory completion of a formal Radiologic Technology training program in an A.M.A. Approved school.Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or other recognized credentialing body. Must possess current Ohio license within area of assignment.
- Training and Experience
- No clinical experience required except that gained through the formal Radiologic Technology training program.
- BLS provider or obtain within 3 months of hire.
