Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays and PET scans in accordance with established protocols.
- Ensure proper positioning of patients to obtain the best possible images while minimizing radiation exposure.
- Maintain a sterile environment by adhering to aseptic techniques during procedures.
- Review and evaluate images for quality assurance, ensuring they meet diagnostic standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare staff to discuss imaging results and patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, procedures performed, and equipment used.
- Stay updated on advancements in radiologic technology and participate in continuing education as required.
Requirements
- Valid certification as a Radiologic Technologist from an accredited program.
- Proficiency in diagnostic radiology techniques, including X-ray and PET scan operations.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Experience working in an emergency room or urgent care setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
