Shipping and Receiving ( Driving Required)
Duties:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify the contents against the purchase orders
- Inspect and document any damages or discrepancies in shipments
- Unload, sort, and label incoming packages and materials
- Prepare outgoing shipments by packing, sealing, and labeling items
- Ensure accurate documentation of all shipments and maintain records of received and shipped items
- Coordinate with carriers to schedule pick-ups and deliveries
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks to move materials as needed
- Assist in inventory management by conducting regular cycle counts
Requirements:
- CDL A License not required but is a plus, Box truck experience a plus
High school diploma or equivalent
-Able to operate a forklift
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving preferred
- Familiarity with AS400 or similar inventory management systems is a plus
- Knowledge of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems is a plus
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects and operate warehouse equipment safely
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams
