Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to oversee Commercial Solar construction projects and ensure they are completed efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of electrical systems, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining high-quality standards. This role is crucial in coordinating the efforts of the electrical team and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and project specifications.
Duties
- Daily task delegation to electrical crew. Oversight of quality and install.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other trades to ensure seamless workflow.
- Conduct on-site inspections to ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Perform electrical testing, commissioning, and QA / QC.
- Train and mentor junior electricians on best practices in installation and safety procedures.
- Ensure all work complies with local codes, regulations, and industry standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Commercial Solar.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in project execution.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Certification or licensing as required by local regulations is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
