Electrical Warehouse Manager / Procurement Specialist

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Materials Manager to oversee our material procurement processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ordering all electrical and steel materials for commercial and residential solar projects. Maintaining records, obtaining quotes, and tracking shipments of all materials.

Duties

• Manage supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of materials and negotiate favorable terms.
• Collaborate with production planning teams to forecast demand and align material availability with production schedules.
• Conduct regular audits of inventory levels and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Analyze supply chain processes to identify areas for improvement and enhance operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on material requirements for upcoming projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in materials management, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control practices and demand planning techniques.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong analytical skills to assess data and make informed decisions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers, team members, and other stakeholders.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on continuous improvement.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
