Position Summary:
The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for processing invoices daily, performing a 3-way match, and various other accounting transactions. This position requires that you work independently, following through with assignments with minimal oversite while maintaining discretion. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
- AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
- 5 years of experience working in accounts payable/accounting
- Experience with accounting software preferred (Business Central, NV, Dynamics, Real Steel, Great Plains)
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with emphasis on Excel and Outlook
- Highly motivated and willing team player who is committed to process improvement & financial accuracy
- Knowledge of general accounting policies and procedures
- High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality
- Strong data entry skills
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills
- Effective verbal, listening, and written communication skills
- Exceptional organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently or as a team member
- Reliable transportation and valid Driver's License
