The position pays a base annual salary between $125,000 - $140,000, depending on experience, with opportunities for bonuses.
Job Overview:
Responsibilities include the financial and operational accounting, cash management, audit/tax coordination for multiple apartment home funds, including financial statement preparation and account analysis
Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close for a large multi-family portfolio including GAAP entries and reporting
- Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures
- Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met
- Coordination of year-end audits and tax preparation, including financial statement preparation and review
- Cash management of funds
- Train and mentor accounting team
- Additional projects as needed
- Position reports to the Controller
- Position is expected to be in the office, but will also need to be able to work remotely
Experience/Education Requirements
- Accounting/Finance degree required
- 4-6 years public accounting experience
- CPA required
- Yardi experience a plus
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Proficient user of Excel
Salary : $125,000 - $140,000
