- Training for activities of daily living
- Training for self care management
- Assessment of need for and recommendation for environmental modification
- Determination of appropriate adaptive equipment to assist with independence and efficiency.
- Training for use of electronics and technology for daily functional use
- Incontinence management and training
- Assessment and training for fit and use of scooter and motorized wheelchair.
- Use of splinting and bracing for positioning, management of range of motion, joint protection, and improved function.
- Training for energy conservation.
- Assessment and training of fine motor skills such as handwriting, small object manipulation, opening jars
- Determination of strategies for management with low vision.
- Assisting with activity engagement and appropriate social interaction
- Caregiver support and training
