Essential Functions
- Answer incoming phone calls and relay detailed messages accurately
- File and maintain medical, pharmacy, and billing records
- Scan and organize medical administration records in a timely manner
- Monitor and respond to email communications
- Assist in scheduling doctor appointments and coordinating transportation
- Type and track billing notes and documentation
- Support nurses with organizing binders and filing charts
- Track pharmacy and medical bills and ensure timely payments
- Accurately enter data and manage documentation using Microsoft Office and other systems
- Assist with special projects involving sorting, filing, and data tracking
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- High proficiency in data entry and typing
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to maintain professionalism and tact when interacting with clients, staff, and family members
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel proficiency preferred)
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. from floor to waist without assistance
- Ability to remain stationary for extended periods (sitting or standing)
- Regularly required to sit, stand, talk, hear, and use hands/fingers for computer and phone use
- Physical tasks may include driving, reaching, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive motion
- High school diploma or GED required
- Prior experience in an administrative or office setting strongly preferred
- Familiarity with scheduling, filing systems, and billing support processes
- Eagerness to contribute and go above and beyond in support of the team
