What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assessor - Licensed position at Trinity Social Services?
Trinity Social Services is seeking an Assessor. The candidate must have knowledge of DSM-V criteria, develop SMART Treatment Planning, be highly organized, and proficient with MS Word and Outlook. Basic knowledge of Core/ IFI services is required. The Candidate must have prior knowledge of the GA Medicaid System of Care (mental/ behavioral health).
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality clinical Bio-Psychosocial out-of-clinic and in-clinic Assessments on all assigned clients for the purpose of determining the type and/or level of services they may be eligible to receive from the agency. Timely complete and submit all necessary documents to include, the Assessments and Treatment Plans.
- Provide proper diagnosis and accurate evaluations through proper questioning, observation and documentation. Ensure clients meet all eligible criteria for authorized service or treatment. Schedule appointments with families and schedule clients for psych evaluations when necessary.
- Provide service at the Company’s minimum service requirements and provide Supervisor/Trainee services or above to eligible clients as needed or directed.
- Timely report to designated places or services sites to represent the agency and conduct assessments. Service sites may include homes, schools, courthouses or other locations and facilities that require the assessor’s continued presence.
Professional Title: LPC, LAPC, LAMFT, LMFT, LMSW, CACII, or LCSW or at least Master level seeking licensure
Requirements:
- Possession of a master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Psychology, Sociology, Criminology, or Social Work or related field and 1 year of experience providing (Out-of-Clinic or In-Clinic) assessments.
- Person may be licensed as a LPC, LAPC, LAMFT, LMFT, LMSW, CACII, or LCSW or at least Master level currently seeking licensure or license eligible.
- Candidate must also be able to provide at least Supervisor/Trainee, Counseling or Therapeutic services to eligible clients
- Minimum 1-year experience of CareLogic experience a plus
- Must have at least 1 year experience working as CORE or NOI provider
Salary : $40 - $50
