JOB SUMMARY:
The Community Accounts Executive's primary focus is targeting new provider markets, maintaining existing provider referral relationships, and handling office administration responsibilities for Trinity Social Services (TSS).
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
1-2 years in managed care or medical or behavioral health settings.
Experience with Medicaid-managed care plans.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Responsible for maintaining and enhancing relationships between TSS and current providers and referrals.
- Meets with potential providers via site visits and occasional video conferences to educate on agency services and assess new accounts, quality, and compliance.
- Attend local community events to create partnerships with local schools, clinics, healthcare providers, and neighboring hospitals.
- Conducts telephonic, face-to-face, or office visits as required.
- Up to 60% of the field work will involve marketing referral visits in the surrounding service areas. Travel will be within the metro Atlanta counties TSS serves to meet targeted needs.
- Evaluate provider community base and implement strategic plans to meet TSS’ marketing adequacy standards.
- Responsible for resource planning for prework and marketing development efforts.
- Participates with the management team and other committees, addressing the strategic goals of the department and organization.
- Participates in other marketing related special projects as directed.
- Outreach to providers, clinics, and other health care agencies, and input appointments.
- Prepare information for management on referral status summaries, success stories, etc. and participate in daily huddles, weekly meetings, and other scheduled events, internally, and with providers externally.
- Document accurately all phone calls, appointments, and other referral related data, provider concerns, questions, or complaints.
- Perform various office administration duties.
- Ensures marketing and office performance goals are met.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Knowledge of state Medicaid/CHIP, Medicare, CMOs, and Marketplace Health Plan insurance.
- Must be organized and able to prioritize, plan, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong working knowledge of behavioral health terminology and healthcare landscape preferred.
- Excellent customer service, active listening, verbal and written communication skills, and professional phone voice.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) or other comparable software.
- Ability to problem solve, critically think to resolve marketing or business issues and implement efficiencies for the future.
