Responsibilities:
- Assist Escrow Officers in the processing of escrow transactions.
- Review and prepare escrow documents, including contracts, amendments, and closing statements.
- Coordinate with lenders, real estate agents, and other parties involved in the transaction to ensure a smooth closing process.
- Calculate and verify prorations, taxes, and other financial figures related to the escrow transaction.
- Maintain accurate records and files for each escrow transaction.
- Communicate with clients to provide updates on the status of their escrow transactions.
- Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies related to escrow transactions.
Requirements:
- Strong math skills with the ability to perform basic calculations accurately.
- Previous experience in loan processing or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of TILA (Truth in Lending Act), fair housing regulations, and other relevant laws and regulations.
- Familiarity with banking procedures and credit analysis.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and other parties involved in the transaction.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using computer software applications such as Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay: $19.98 - $24.06 per hour
