Job Summary
The CNC Machinist/Operator is responsible for setting up, programing and operating CNC machines. This person is capable of working independently and also working very closely with a few key contributors, to collaborate on necessary topics. The ideal candidate for this role is tenacious, has previous machinist experience and is eager to learn and grow.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Setup, program and operate CNC machines
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and work orders to determine proper specifications of parts to be machined
- Monitor CNC machine during operation to make necessary adjustments for optimal performance
- Regularly check and maintain CNC mill, including cleaning and maintaining machine
- Troubleshoot issues that arise during production
Minimum Requirements
- Capable of demonstrating knowledge from previous experience operating CNC machine(s)
- Interested in ongoing education regarding new technology, software and tools related to the CNC machine
- High school diploma or equivalent degree
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
