Position Description:
Trinity Valley School is seeking a full-time Assistant Pre-Kindergarten Instructor to join the Lower School faculty beginning in the 2025-2026 school year.

Knowledge, Experience, and Skill Requirements:
The ideal candidate will:
- Preferably hold a bachelor's degree in early childhood or elementary education.
- Have recently worked in education as a teaching assistant or lead teacher.
- Have significant experience working with lower-school-aged students.
- Fully support the four main objectives of the TVS Mission Statement.

- Create and promote inclusive learning spaces in which all students feel safe, honored, appreciated, and respected for who they are.

Responsibilities of the position include:
- Extremely positive and nurturing in nature.
- Provide attention and assistance to students with compassion and patience.
- Provide individual and small group instruction.
- Assess students in literacy, math, and developmental goals.
- Monitor work habits and student behavior while developing social skills.
- Remain well versed in the area of primary teaching concepts and continuously seek resources to improve practices.
- Ability to collaborate with fellow teachers, working together in the development of curriculum and sharing of best practices.
- Serve on committees, help with admission events, attend faculty meetings, and collaborate with grade level teachers.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the interests and learning styles of children.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with co-workers, children, and parents.
- Assist the lead teacher in preparing instructional materials and ensuring that activities, centers, and lesson materials are ready for the week.
