Child Care Teacher

Trinity Village Child Development Center is growing and needs energetic, fun loving Pre-school teachers who have a passion for working with children.

Responsibilities:

• Instruct preschool-aged children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
• Create a fun and safe learning environment
• Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
• Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress
• Maintain the health and safety of all students
• Create lesson plans using and following curriculum
• Organize and maintain a clean classroom with a standard of excellence at the forefront.
• Participating in staff meeting

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields
• Passionate about working with children
• Ability to build rapport with children
• Positive and patient demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong Customer Service
• Communicate well with others
• Must have excellent teamwork skills and the ability to work well with students and co-workers .
• Must be detail-oriented, organized and willing to take initiative.
• Must be a role model and maintain a high level of professionalism.
• Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
• TB testing and Finger prints Required
• Must clear full background check and must pass health screening.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 35 Pds

Experience/Education

• Early Childhood Education: 2 year (Preferred)
• HS Diploma with two years’ experience with children or CDA
