Position Summary
This is a full-time, 12-month faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing and Health Professions. The individual will teach 2 courses in the undergraduate program and 2 courses in the graduate program each semester, advise students, contribute to service to the department and school, and help build partnerships with community agencies to support the public health and health services programs.
Minimum Qualifications
- Doctorate in public health or closely related field
- A record of high-quality undergraduate and graduate teaching and mentoring
- Expertise in social behavioral public health, public health communication, and qualitative research methods
- Demonstrated ability to engage in the CEPH accreditation process for standalone graduate program in public health
- Experience in increasing social justice within an academic environment
- Demonstrated experience using face-to-face and virtual teaching modalities
