Job Summary
The Assistant Property Manager plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations of property management. This position requires a strong focus on customer service, effective communication, and organizational skills to ensure the smooth functioning of the property. The ideal candidate will assist in managing tenant relations, maintaining property standards, and have a keen eye for details. They will be able to problem self and be a self starter as this is a small business and there will not be micro managing, but there is ample on the job training. The team works together to collaborate and support each other, the day to day needs vary.
Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service to tenants and prospective residents, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Assist in the management of tenant files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Perform proofreading of property-related documents and communications to maintain professionalism and clarity.
- Complete inspections of local properties, work with vendors to ensure tasks are completed.
- Support front desk operations, greeting visitors and managing incoming calls with a friendly demeanor.
- Maintain computerized records and databases related to property management activities.
- Utilize computer literacy skills to prepare reports, correspondence, and other necessary documentation.
- Collaborate with the property management team to coordinate maintenance requests and ensure timely responses.
- Assist in office management tasks, including scheduling appointments and managing office supplies.
- Implement effective time management strategies to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
Qualifications
- Admin and customer service experience required.
- HS or GED required, college courses or degree a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for file management and documentation.
- Proficiency in proofreading to ensure high-quality communications.
- Experience in real estate or property mgt is a plus....
- Demonstrated computer literacy with experience in property management software preferred.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to multi task and prioritize a must....communicate when a task is complete is a must. Share information with the team in a professional manner a must
