What you'll do :
- Set up and operate production machines to cut, bend, straighten, or form parts as specified by blueprints, lay-up sequence, and / or templates
- Read blueprints
- Operate press break, sheer, punch press, saw, drill press
- Iron Worker and Angle Master
- Adjust for thickness and shape of materials and makes appropriate settings
- Load material for processing
- Verify dimensional requirements
- May perform plasma or CNC duties
- Unload and may transfer materials to storage areas using overhead cranes or forklift
- Follow all safety rules and practices
- May be involved in safety committees or initiatives
- Perform other duties as assigned
