WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact Workday integrations and Workday Built on applications.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to understand and translate the needs of the business.
- Contribute to strategic direction from a technologist’s perspective.
- Effectively communicate with engineers, product owners and leadership team
- Build & maintain thorough documentation for system implementation
- Work in Agile teams following Agile Scrum methodologies to predictably deliver value.
- Build, test and deliver high quality, complex frameworks and systems and diagnose and resolve complex issues.
- Generate innovative approaches and solutions to complex issues.
- Mentor less-experienced staff in their career development and provide them with guidance and direction.
- Conduct technical research to improve the development environment / best practices.
- Continually research, test and stay up to date on Workday updates, fixes and capabilities
WHO YOU ARE
- 2 years of experience on Workday Extend
- Workday Extend certification
- 2 years of experience in Workday implementations and integrations.
- 3 years of software development experience with Java/.NET and modern web development frameworks.
- Quality and test first development mindset
- Able to define and adhere to technical standards within a development team.
- Ability to strongly influence peers and technical staff within the team.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience in software development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Workday Financial Management
- Commercial external customer-facing software development experience is highly desired / preferred.
- Production experience in developing and deploying from inception to completion of Hybrid Cloud Applications
- Successful track record delivering high quality products while working in Agile Teams and following Agile methodologies.
