The Linux Security Consultant will possess knowledge in decision making, organizational awareness, and problem-solving skills.
Experience Required:
- 7 years of experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux, CentOS, Ubuntu, SUSE, Debian Linux.
- 4 years of experience in developing Ansible playbooks, Shell, and Python scripts.
- Ability to author and implement automation for complex operational and administrative tasks.
- Experience with security tools and threat mitigation technologies such as McAfee, CISCO AMP, Nessus Tenable, Tanium, and Dell SecureWorks Red Cloak. Experience with VMware, vCenter, and ESXI.
- 2 years of experience in the past seven years of the following:
- OpenShift (on-premises).
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux and CoreOS (RHCOS).
- Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) 140-2 and 140-3.
- National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publication 800-171.
- Graylog.
- Linux file sharing via Network File System (NFS) and Common Internet File System (CIFS).
- Kerberized NFS and CIFS against Window Active Directory.
- Carbon Black.
- fapolicyd, and other checksum-based executable whitelisting.
- Full Disk Encryption (FDE).
Education Required:
- Bachelor's degree in an IT-related or Engineering field. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
