As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring smooth operations.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with seating options.
- Manage reservations and maintain an organized waiting list during busy periods.
- Communicate effectively with guests regarding wait times and special requests.
- Assist in coordinating the flow of guests to ensure timely seating and service.
- Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns promptly.
- Utilize POS system for managing reservations and guest information.
- Collaborate with the serving staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Uphold cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent phone etiquette.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Familiarity with food service operations is a plus.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to foster positive guest relations.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- A team player who can collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments.
