Job Overview
At TriOptus LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team in East Hanover, NJ.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing analytical and operational support to the Development organization, ensuring accurate month-end reporting, controls compliance, and support of various business objectives.
Main Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting and Analysis: Contribute to Month-end financial closing and reporting process for the Global Drug Development organization including monthly development accruals and prepaid entries, account reconciliation and analysis, and various reporting schedules.
- Accrual Tool Maintenance: Work with the GDD finance team to ensure the "Accrual Tool" is maintained and calculating accruals appropriately. Collaborate with the finance team to post and review the monthly accrual via the accrual tool.
- Vendor Confirmation Process: Responsible for coordinating and reviewing the results of the quarterly vendor confirmation process.
- Analytical and Operational Support: Provide analytical and operational support to the Development organization.
- Process Governance: Ensure business partners understand and adhere to financial processes and controls.
- SOX Reports: Participate in the preparation of quarterly GDD SOX reports.
- Service Delivery: Responsible for the delivery of service levels and SLA/KPI targets for the accounting function.
- Accounting Policies: Ensure accounting policies, processes, and operating procedures are clearly defined, in line with Group standards, up-to-date, and documented.
- Issue Resolution: Resolve accounting-related issues as required.
Requirements
- Education: Undergraduate degree in Accounting and/or Finance.
- Advanced Degree: Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business preferred.
- Experience: 5 years of Financial experience.
- Professional Certifications: CPA preferred.
- Skill Set: Ability to participate in and drive meaningful improvements in performance, quality, and efficiency through system and process innovation and effective project management.
- Cultural Fit: Ability to work effectively in a multi-national, matrix organization, and build mutually productive business partnerships.
- Business Acumen: Demonstrated understanding of key business fundamentals and value drivers.
- Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of IFRS (GAAP), accounting and financial reporting requirements, Enterprise systems knowledge (SAP).
- Project Management: Experience of managing projects driving performance (e.g., ERP implementation).
