Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Patient Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate care and support to patients in various healthcare settings.
Duties
- Assist patients with activities of daily living
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Monitor and report changes in patient's condition to healthcare providers
- Ensure patient safety and comfort
- Help with patient mobility and transfers
- Maintain a clean and organized patient environment
Qualifications
- Experience or knowledge in infectious disease care, memory care, assisted living, or urgent care is preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures in settings such as Cerner, DME, medical offices, clinics, or PICU is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients
- Certification or training in patient care assistance is beneficial
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
