Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and implement patient care specific to the age of the patient population served on the patient care unit.
- Maintain current knowledge on oncology and hematology therapeutic regimens.
- Assist physicians in the health maintenance of patients in a complex disease state.
- Perform interviews for the physician regarding current status of care by other providers.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Current state RN license.
- Bachelor's degree or associate degree from an accredited nursing school.
- 2 years of chemotherapy infusion experience required.
- 3-5 years of oncology experience preferred.
