Position Overview :

We’re looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to provide support to our Urgent Care Clinic. This per diem role offers flexibility while allowing you to contribute to a high-quality healthcare experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities :

• Greet and prepare patients for examinations or procedures.
• Take and record vital signs, patient histories, and relevant health information.
• Assist healthcare providers during exams and minor procedures.
• Administer medications or perform lab tests as directed by providers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and medical equipment.
• Accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Provide exceptional patient care with compassion and professionalism.

Qualifications :

What We Offer :

This position provides technical nursing care for assigned patients in the office setting. Follows established standards and practices under direction of Physician, Clinic Manager, and / or designated healthcare professional. Work within legal scope of practice and healthcare certification.

Minimum requirements : Must have current Washington LPN Licensure or current active or interim Medical Assistant – Certified WA State certification. May also have Medical Assistant-Registered WA State certification and must obtain MA-C accreditation within six months from employment date. Current AHA HCP (BLS) Card.
