Essential Functions:
Working directly in the outpatient therapy department in the Trios Care Center:
- Greets the patients and maintains direct eye contract for excellent customer service.
- Answer the telephone and effectively assist all customers/patients.
- Gathers demographic information and enters/updates in computer system.
- Notifies clinical staff of patients delays and cancellations
- Call incoming patients, and maintain the therapy providers schedules
- Prepares and maintains accurate medical records.
- Proficiently works with computer systems to communicate and maintain patient health records.
- Registers patients
- Conducts intake activities with respect for patient's privacy and rights.
- Reacts in positive helpful manner to questions or inquiries.
- Interacts with waiting patients to keep them apprised of delays
Qualifications and requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Associate's degree- Preferred
