Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate, maintain, and repair metal objects through the operation of large lathes, grinders, welders, milling machines, drill presses, and similar equipment.
- Measure work carefully using precision tools such as micrometers.
- Use, adjust, clean, and store the tools, machinery, and equipment of the machinist's trade.
- Operate brush plating equipment (optional).
The Machinist must demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service.
