Carpenter/Laborer

Job Summary
We are seeking and entry level, but skilled and dedicated Carpenter/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a passion for craftsmanship in various construction projects. This role involves working on-site and ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Duties

• Perform a variety of carpentry tasks including framing, trim carpentry, and installation of fixtures.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively and safely to complete projects.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to specifications.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Most work will be decks, trim carpentry, drywall, tile work, and painting

Skills

• 3-5 years in construction, carpentry, and/or painting
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to carpentry and construction.
• Strong skills in framing and trim carpentry.
• Other desired skills include painting, drywall, and tile work.
• Ability to plumb accurately for installations and repairs.
• Light electrical experience is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with construction site protocols and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Must be ok with climbing and working on ladders.
• Must have basic tools and transportation.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
