Triple Cities Metal Finishing is currently seeking a Chemical Lab Intern. As a Chemical Lab Intern, you will play a crucial role in assisting our Lab Managers with testing and documentation, while maintaining a safe work environment.
Position Overview
- Conduct testing and analysis of plating tanks to ensure proper chemical composition and plating quality.
- Receive, label, and analyze samples.
- Assisting the clean-up of unused tanks.
- Ensuring specs are consistent in TrueChem and on production floor.
- Removing old chemistry from quarantine areas.
- Complete paperwork as needed.
- Comply with company policies and guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned by the Lab Manager.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Pursuing or holding a degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or other closely related field.
- Skills:
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Communication: Clear communication is essential for reporting findings and collaborating with production teams.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and recommend solutions.
- Experience:
- Experience in laboratory techniques & data analysis is preferred.
Shift:
- 20 hours/week on average
Total Compensation Package:
- Wage
- $15.50-$18.50/hour
- Compensation depends on the selected candidate's experience.
