What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Laborer position at Triple Crown Corporation Inc?
About the Position...
The Laborer will be assisting with various tasks and projects related to the company’s construction division. These individuals will be performing manual labor to ensure that job-sites are progressing and deadlines are being met as laid out by the Superintendent and Foreman.
- Report to the Superintendent/Foreman for daily work assignments.
- Operate tampers, jack hammers, demolition saws, pumps, and pressure washers as required.
- Operate company owned vehicles, material handlers, scissor lifts, rental equipment and including towing trailers and compressors.
- Responsible for organizing and maintaining site storage trailers and equipment.
- Installation of exterior and interior foundation drains.
- Assist Carpenters as required with various activities from rough carpentry to finish carpentry.
- Assist with other daily sitework tasks such as demolition and clean-up.
What we are looking for from you...
- HS Diploma or GED
- Be able to complete construction work, including but not limited to digging, lifting, climbing ladders, and entering trench excavations.
- Must have your own tools
- Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 95 pounds
