What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pro Shop Attendant position at TRIPLE CROWN CORPORATION, INC?
This position is responsible for overseeing member play, tournaments and outings, and assist in merchandising of the golf shop.
- Oversees scheduling of member tee-times and starter activities.
- Creates a customer service-oriented atmosphere that promotes the game of golf and meets the needs of the members and guest.
- Ensures the associates provide a high level of customer service.
- Interprets and enforces club policies, rules and regulations.
- Assist Head Professional/Assistant Professional in scheduling staff hours to assure that members are fully served and that labor costs are maintained.
- Maintains effective stock levels and ensures stock presentations are appropriate for all seasons.
- Sells and maintains golf shop merchandise while providing member and guest service.
- Assist in receiving merchandise, prices merchandise, entering into POS system, and monitors inventory levels.
- Assist in presenting merchandise in attractive displays and rotate keeping a fresh look to golf shop.
- Ensures stockrooms are kept organized so that items are easy to locate.
- Responsible for interviewing, training, planning, assigning, and directing work, evaluating performance, rewarding, and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Oversees Outside Golf Operations Associates and assures they are fulfilling their job duties.
- Ensures end of day procedures are completed and the Golf Shop is ready to open for the next day.
- Assists in coordinating tournaments or events from the initial planning stages until the completion of the event.
- Assists in coordinating inter-departmental support for all tournaments (golf services, golf shop, food & beverage, etc.)
- Performs other duties as required.
