Position Summary
Canvass neighborhoods and talk to homeowners about replacing their roofs, siding, and gutters. Guide homeowners through the process from the initial property inspection through job completion. Procure sales and ask for referrals from homeowners.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Knock on doors and speak with homeowners regarding replacing roofs, siding, and gutters
- Complete property inspections and assist homeowners in filing insurance claims
- Guide homeowners through insurance process from start to completion of work
- Collect funds from homeowners for work completed
- Ask for referrals from homeowners
- Average at least one job per week by the end of initial training period
- Maintain valid Driver's License throughout employment
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Desire to help people
- Basic math skills
- Ability to speak politely and effectively with homeowners
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently
- Problem solving skills
- High school degree or G.E.D.
- Ability to use a cell phone
- Working knowledge of email
Experience
No prior sales experience required
