A Camera Operator for Triple Crown Sports is a game day position that works as part of the Production team to execute shows during Triple Crown Sports events. The Camera Operator is responsible for running a camera while covering the game action assigned to their specific camera position. The Camera Operator plays a key role in enhancing the game day experience for fans. The incumbent must be flexible and adaptive in a fast-paced environment wherein critical thinking and the ability to effectively follow direction are essential.

- Time: Covering Three Games - 12 p.m.. 2 p.m., 4 p.m. (CST)
- Compensation: $250/day
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Attend and contribute to pre-production meetings if necessary
- Run-through and get comfortable with all camera controls/specific camera position responsibilities
- Assist with set up and tear down of camera, cabling, and scaffolding
- Maintain situational awareness during the entire game and inning breaks
- Follow leads from game day Director and Manager, Event Producer
- Work with the control room team to execute high quality shows
- Provide general support
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Prior experience with sports, events or live production preferred
- Must be able to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions
- Willingness to operate wireless/handheld camera
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to work the entire event including pre- and post-game activities
- General understanding of the game of baseball, softball, or volleyball
- Works well in fast-paced/live event, high pressure situations
- Have reliable transportation
