The intern will work closely with our team to ensure smooth operations, reconcile expenses, and handle communication with hotels to confirm reservations and correct discrepancies. This position offers a chance to develop key skills in project management, customer service, and logistics, while supporting essential functions for our staff during the busy summer months.

Key Responsibilities:
- Hotel Coordination & Communication:
- Correspond with hotels to ensure the accuracy of staff room reservations and complimentary room status.
- Reconfirm reservations by phone and email, ensuring all details are correct and up-to-date.
- Resolve issues with group sales and front desk staff when discrepancies arise, often related to incorrect room reservations.
- Expense Reconciliation:
- Assist with reconciling credit card charges related to staff accommodations.
- Review receipts, ensure all charges are correct, and report discrepancies to appropriate departments.
- Rewards Points Audits:
- Support the audit process for hotel rewards points, ensuring they are properly credited to our accounts.
- Administrative Support:
- Handle various administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and general office support.
- Assist with other assigned projects as needed, ensuring deadlines are met and tasks are completed with high attention to detail.
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and correct discrepancies.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Comfortable with phone and email communication in a professional manner.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Previous customer service or administrative experience is a plus.
