We're seeking a highly skilled Foreman Aerial Crew to join our team and help connect America. As a key member of our Aerial Crew, you will be responsible for installing and repairing aerial telecommunications cable, ensuring that all work is performed to the highest standards required by our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prioritize and plan work activities, utilizing time efficiently to maximize productivity.
- Lead and train crew members, adhering to all safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Follow production procedures, accurately tracking and submitting daily reports and paperwork.
- Complete work orders through supervisor's direction and customer specifications, ensuring timely completion or notifying appropriate personnel with an alternate plan.
- Accountable for issued truck, trailer, tools, signs, cones, and other equipment.
- Safely identify utilities in the work area and recognize electrical and other safety hazards.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, standards, guidelines, and requirements.
- Ensure completion of work responsibilities and special projects in accordance with designated timeframes.
- Adhere to Company ethical requirements, demonstrating the utmost integrity in all professional and personal matters.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You must be authorized to work in the United States for this company.
- You must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- You must have a valid standard Driver's License with a minimum of 2 years driving experience or Class A Commercial Driver's License.
- 3 years related experience in working with aerial/buried/underground energized electrical lines.
- Valid driver's license and CDL required.
- Ability to read a tape measure and other measuring devices.
- Ability to read, write, add, subtract, and multiply.
- Experienced in reading engineering drawings and site plans.
- Knowledge of DOT and OSHA regulations and requirements.
- Experienced in the operation and maintenance of heavy equipment.
- Familiar with bucket truck operation and ability to climb telephone poles.
