Job Summary:
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for the development and implementation of human resources policies and procedures to support the organization’s mission. This position will be responsible for recruitment, hiring, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, training and development, and other duties as assigned. The Human Resources Generalist will work closely with the Director of Human Resources to ensure that all policies and procedures are followed.
Essential Duties:
- Develop and implement human resources policies and procedures to support the organization’s mission
- Develop and implement performance management programs to support the organization’s mission
- Develop and implement job descriptions to support the organization’s mission
- Hire employees using appropriate screening techniques such as background checks and drug screens
- Provide on-going training in personnel management, conflict resolution, conflict management, teamwork, leadership, ethics, compensation, and other topics
- Support recruitment efforts by seeking out qualified candidates and providing excellent customer service
- Maintain employee records using HRIS systems such as ADP or similar systems
- Conduct performance appraisals to monitor employee performance against company goals and objectives
- Supervise employees’ work life balance and other work-related issues
- Other duties as assigned
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3 years of human resources experience preferred
- Previous experience in a human resources role preferred
