Duties
- Assist in assembling and installing plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to complete plumbing tasks.
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications and requirements.
- Support construction site operations by collaborating with other trades, including HVAC technicians and carpenters.
- Participate in construction plumbing projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Learn basic welding techniques as needed for specific plumbing tasks.
- Perform general maintenance person duties as required to support ongoing projects.
Skills
- Strong willingness to learn and develop skills in plumbing and construction.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment on construction sites.
- Basic understanding of power tools and their safe operation.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
