Position Overview:
The Dispensary Agent is responsible for ensuring an overall positive customer and patient experience. This role is supervised by the Dispensary Floor Leads, and reports to the Dispensary General Manager.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Maintain working knowledge of all cannabis products offered in the dispensary.
- Possess a general knowledge of the approved qualifying medical conditions to have a better understanding of the patient’s symptoms and product treatment options.
- Utilize well-versed knowledge on all cannabinoids, as well as how they affect the body.
- Recommend appropriate products, methods of delivery and proper dosing in accordance with established guidelines to ensure positive patient and customer experience.
- Solicit feedback to better understand patient and customer needs.
- Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly inventory counts and reconciliation.
- Assist with monitoring stock of all products, communicating when an item is sold out.
- Prepare medicated products and accessories for display, assuring the highest quality in appearance and presentation.
- Assist with all dispensary housekeeping functions (i.e. cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, etc.) to ensure an overall cleanliness of the Retail Dispensary, bathrooms and breakroom.
- Assist patients with disabilities.
- Operate with integrity and honesty, adhering to all Company policies and procedures.
- Perform all other duties/tasks as assigned by the Dispensary Manager.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Demonstrated passion for serving the medical and adult use cannabis community.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to use a computer and willingness to learn new systems.
- Ability to stand for longer periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds periodically.
- Cannabis product knowledge: effects, genetics, and intake methods preferred.
- Retail experience highly desired.
- Experience in a complex, fast-paced environment.
- Organization and planning skills.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
- Ability to pass a background check in accordance with local, state and federal laws.
