We are seeking a creative and motivated Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in various aspects of SEO, graphic design, digital design, and web development. The ideal candidate will have a passion for search engine optimization, visual storytelling and a desire to learn and grow within the field. You will work closely with our marketing team to contribute to projects throughout the company that enhance our brand identity and engage our audience.
Responsibilities:
- SEO management for multiple sites
- Assist in creating visually appealing graphics for digital platforms, including social media, websites, and email campaigns.
- Flyers, promotional literature and event designs for local and corporate events.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop concepts and layouts for various projects.
- Collaborate with the Houston region managers for promotional events and various projects.
- Support video editing tasks to produce engaging multimedia content.
- Utilize software such as Canva, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop.
- Participate in web design projects, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and user experience best practices.
- Copywriting for various projects and formatting documents for print and digital use.
- Stay up to date with design trends and emerging technologies to bring fresh ideas to the team.
- This is an on-site position in our Houston office located at 6000 Jensen Drive. There will be little or no remote work allowed.
- Some travel will be required for trade shows and remote events.
Qualifications:
- Marketing Degree (BSM) required with a minimum of 2 years of marketing experience.
- Commercial marketing experience a plus.
- Proficiency in SEO, graphic design software, particularly Canva and Adobe programs including Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop.
- Creating content for social media platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram.
- Copy writing basics to ensure a high publication standard.
- Experience with HubSpot Marketing a plus.
- Familiarity with video editing tools is a plus.
- Strong illustration skills with an eye for detail.
- Understanding of digital design best practices and typesetting techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills.
- A portfolio showcasing your design work will be required if you are selected for an interview.
