Position Summary :
Hybrid- Chicago, IL Market
Pay Range : $48k - $60k yearly

The Sales Manager is responsible for responding to sales inquiries, seeking out new business, and converting these inquiries into booked event business for our venues. The Sales Manager is an essential part of our Company and helps develop innovative ideas through current trends, helps develop marketing pieces to increase sales & awareness, and works within target markets to increase revenue for our venues. This position requires being a “self-starter” and motivation to meet or exceed sales goals. Additionally, the Sales Manager must partner with the operations team to ensure high-quality guest service for booked events.
Responsibilities :
- Ability to work different shifts, weekends, and holidays, including extended workdays to support business needs as they change
- Communicate the features and benefits of the Company’s properties and event packages to prospective clients
- Consistently meet or exceed individual monthly sales goal
- Own It by creating 4 local marketing events a year per location
- Create and manage all client data and calls through HubSpot, our customer relationship management tool
- Ensure proper payment handling procedures are being followed; Including collecting deposits and final payments and reconciling final event invoice amounts
- Excellence. Ensure successful event execution with the operations team using excellent communication, including documenting events in detail on Banquet Event Orders
- Use Spirit to manage client relationships during the event planning and stay in contact for future events
- Respond to event inquiries, converting inquiries into booked events
- Strong understanding of the specific needs of different event types, such as birthday parties, field trips, corporate events, etc.
- Use Respect to work with clients to plan and coordinate details of events
- Other assigned tasks
Requirements :
401k Information :
You will be eligible to begin contributing to a 401(k) on the first of the month following your first 90 days of service and if you meet the minimum hours criteria. The minimum criteria for employee eligibility are 1) employees must be 21 years of age or older and 2) must work 250 hours in 90 days or an average of 1,000 hours in one year. Triple Shift Entertainment will match qualified 401(k) contributions as follows : $1 for $1 for the first 3% and $0.50 for $1 on the next 2% on what employee contributes to their 401(k) and you are considered fully vested immediately.
