Required Qualifications:
- Knowledge of local plumbing codes and ability to make on-the-job applications, journeyman license highly preferred
- 4 years of experience with service and repair of plumbing systems and fixtures in residential and commercial
- Personable and professional with a knack for diffusing messy situations and problem solving.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High integrity with the strong desire to be better tomorrow than you are today.
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
- Must be able to pass drug screen and background check.
Primary Job Functions:
- Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing systems used for water distribution and wastewater disposal in residential and commercial
- Review building plan and specifications to determine the layout for plumbing and related materials.
- Locate and mark positions for connections and fixtures, install supports and hangers, assemble and install valves and fittings, and test pipe systems and fixtures for leaks.
- Ensure all installations, repairs and maintenance are properly sized, aligned, supported, and graded and meet the requirements of the appropriate codes and environmental protection requirements.
- Maintain communication with dispatch, your manager, parts, and installation teams.
- Coordinate with other service trades, contractors, clientele, and vendors as needed
- Keep your company truck clean (inside and out), maintain inventory, and properly complete paperwork.
- Comply with service standards, work instructions and customers’ requirements.
- Complete invoices, timecards, curbside feedback, and option sheets.
- Participate actively in all training exercises, continued education, morning meetings, trade shows and retreats.
Physical Demands:
- Must be physically able to be on feet 8 hours a day.
- Must be physically able to perform strenuous labor including lifting heavy objects (75lbs. and up) on a daily basis.
- Must be able to work in extreme heat and cold.
- Must be able to climb up and down a ladder numerous times throughout the day
